If you’re new around here, only 2% of venture capital dollars went to startups founded by all-women teams and over 80% of VC investments went to all-men founding teams in 2022. Cable, which provides financial crime compliance software for banks and fintechs, raised $11M of Series A funding. The round was led by Stage 2 Capital and Jump Capital. The company was founded by Natasha Vernier and Katie Savitz, and is based in San Francisco, CA.

Diligent Pharma, a vendor qualification platform, raised $8.3M of Series A funding. The round was led by FCA Venture Partners. The company was founded by Patricia Leuchten, and is based in Princeton, NJ.

CytoAgents, a biotech company focused on viral infections, raised $7M of Series A funding. The round was led by PCG Capital. The company is led by Teresa Whalen, and is based in Pittsburgh, PA.

Motherly, a lifestyle brand and community for motherhood, raised $5.6M of venture funding. The company was founded by Elizabeth Tenety and Jill Koziol, and is based in Menlo Park, CA.

DropStat, a workforce automation platform for healthcare organizations powered by AI, raised $5.5M of venture funding. The round was led by Panoramic Ventures. The company was founded by Sara Well, and is based in Los Angeles, CA.

Vibe, a no-code platform to turn NFTs into applications, raised $4M of Seed funding. The round was led by Ichemy Ventures and Aglae Ventures. The company was founded by Rachel Chu, and is based in San Francisco, CA.

Pluto Biosciences, which provides workflow and analytics software for the life sciences industry, raised $3.7M of Seed funding. The round was led by Silverton Partners. The company was founded by Rani Powers, and is based in Denver, CO.

Tangible, a software platform for reporting on sustainable building materials, raised $3M of Seed funding. The round was led by Fifty Years and Foundamental. The company was founded by Anneli Tostar and Nicole Granath, and is based in San Francisco, CA.

Friendlier, which creates sustainable and reusable containers for the food service industry, raised $2.3M of venture funding. The round was led by Relay Ventures and Garage Capital. The company was founded by Jacquie Hutchings and Kayli Dale, and is based in Guelph.

Swiftsure Innovations, which invented an oral care tool for intubated patients, raised $2.3M of Seed funding. The round was led by Pelorus Venture Capital. The company was founded by Deanne McCarthy, and is based in Newfoundland, PA.

Mycocycle, a biotech company leveraging fungi to make waste reusable, raised $2.2M of Seed funding. The round was led by Anthropocene Ventures. The company was founded by Joanne Rodriguez, and is based in Chicago, IL.

SureImpact, which provides software for mission-driven organizations to manage and measure social impact, raised $2M of Seed funding. The round was led by Rev1 Ventures. The company was founded by Sheri Chaney Jones, and is based in Columbus, OH.
