Happy New Year! We’re back with our monthly funding news, covering venture capital deals for women-founded companies. This month, we tracked 17 deals totaling $216M.
Glass Half Funded tracked 62 venture capital deals totaling $957M for women-founded startups over the past three months. Two deals, Guild Education and Vanta, were over $100M each!
This month, we tracked 24 deals and $117.2M of VC funding to founding teams of all women. The biggest deal was Rael, which provides organic hygiene products.
This month, we tracked $449.1M of venture capital funding to founding teams of all women, representing 19% growth over last month. The biggest deal was Ellevest, an investing platform designed for women.
Every year, Forbes puts out a list of the top 100 venture capital investors, called the Midas List. This year, 11 of the 100 are women, which is down from last year’s record of 12. At Glass Half Funded, we know the venture capital industry is still very much dominated by men, so we aren’t surprised by the low number of women on the list. However, we still want to celebrate the women who made it!
This month, GHF tracked $376.4M of venture capital funding to founding teams of all women, representing 5% growth over last month. The biggest deal was Chief, a membership for women executives and leaders.

Women’s History Month is a time to honor and celebrate the achievements and struggles of women. To celebrate Women’s History Month, Glass Half Funded is recognizing women from all walks of life who have broken barriers, from politicians to businesswomen to artists to athletes.
