If you’re new around here, only 2% of venture capital dollars went to startups founded by all-women teams and over 80% of VC investments went to all-men founding teams in 2022. Kindbody, a provider of fertility benefits for employers, raised $100M of venture funding. The round was led by Perceptive Advisors. The company was founded by Gina Bartasi, and is based in New York, NY.
Paragonix Technologies, which provides devices to preserve organs during transplants, raised $24M of Series B funding. The round was led by Signet Healthcare Partners. The company was founded by Lisa Anderson, and is based in Cambridge, MA.
Candidly (formerly FutureFuel.io), which provides student debt optimization software, raised $20.5M of Series B funding. The round was led by Altos Ventures. The company was founded by Laurel Taylor, and is based in New York, NY.
Illumix, which provides infrastructure for augmented reality solutions, raised $18M of Series A funding. The round was led by LightShed Ventures. The company was founded by Alex Fu, Kirin Sinha, and Marianne Dang, and is based in Redwood City, CA.
Shennon Biotechnologies, a biotech company that is advancing immunotherapies, raised $13M of Seed funding. The round was led by DCVC. The company was founded by Li Sun, and is based in San Francisco, CA.
Fly By Jing, a specialty Chinese chili sauce company, raised $12M of Series B funding. The round was led by Prelude Growth Partners and Pendulum. The company was founded by Jing Gao, and is based in Los Angeles, CA.
TeraPore Technologies, a biomanufacturing company, raised $10M of venture funding. The round was led by Anzu Partners. The company is led by Rachel Dorin, and is based in San Francisco, CA.
Live Tinted, which provides clean beauty products for all skin shades, raised $10M of Series A funding. The round was led by Monogram Capital Partners. The company was founded by Deepica Mutyala, and is based in Los Angeles, CA.
Rubi Labs, which creates textiles from carbon emissions, raised $8.7M of Seed funding. The round was led by Talis Capital, Tin Shed Ventures, and H&M Group. The company was founded by Neeka and Leila Mashouf, and is based in San Leandro, CA.
Wave Life, a mental health platform, raised $6M of Seed funding. The round was led by Sante Ventures. The company was founded by Sarah Adler, and is based in San Francisco, CA.
Nav.it, an app designed to promote financial wellbeing, raised $3.3M of venture funding. The round was led by Stena AB. The company was founded by Erin Papworth and Maia Monell, and is based in Seattle, WA.
The Coven, which provides coworking spaces for working women, raised $3.3M of venture funding. The company was founded by Alex West Steinman, Bethany Iverson, Erinn Farrell, and Liz Giel, and is based in Minneapolis, MN.
Sensate, a wellness company that provides relaxation devices, raised $3.2M of Seed funding. The round was led by Incisive Ventures. The company was founded by Anna Gudmundson, and is based in San Marcos, CA.
Poppy Handcrafted Popcorn, a gourmet popcorn company, raised $3M of Series A funding. The round was led by JACS Capital. The company was founded by Ginger Frank and Susan Aplin, and is based in Asheville, NC.
Loupe, a platform for streaming art, raised $3M of Seed funding. The round was led by ALIAVIA Ventures. The company was founded by Dot Bustelo, and is based in Atlanta, GA.
BabyQuip, a baby gear marketplace for traveling families, raised $2.6M of venture funding. The company was founded by Fran Maier and Kerri Couillard, and is based in Santa Fe, NM.
Kai XR, an immersive educational experience platform, raised $1.6M of Seed funding. The round was led by Kapor Capital. The company was founded by Kai Frazier, and is based in Oakland, CA.
Tandem, a marketplace for parents to connect with childcare, raised $1.1M of venture funding. The company was founded by McKenzie Kennelly, Natalie Amling, and Olivia Weinstock, and is based in Columbus, OH.
Oars + Alps, a natural skincare brand, raised $900K of venture funding. The company was founded by Laura Lisowski Cox and Mia Saini, and is based in Chicago, IL.
Beeyonder, which provides virtual tours, raised $652.7K of venture funding. The company was founded by Brittany Palmer, and is based in Boston, MA.
